The latest amendments in the Spanish tax legislation (Law 5/2020 on the Tax on Financial Transactions) imposed a tax charge to which you might be subject. From 05/07/2022 and onwards, we will be charging a Tobin Tax when you buy exchange-listed stocks of Spanish companies having market capitalisation greater than 1 billion euro (calculated in December of the previous year). The tax rate is 0.2% of the purchased stocks’ nominal value.
